RIACDL Participates in Eyewitness ID Task Force
Representatives of the Rhode Island Association of
Criminal Defense Lawyers (RIACDL) recently participated in a statutorily
created “Task Force to Identify & Recommend Policies &
Procedure to Improve the Accuracy of Eyewitness Identification.” The
Task Force’s final report, submitted in December 2010, included 11
recommendations to improve accuracy in eyewitness identification. The
report is available online at www.eyeid.org or by contacting RIACDL’s
Director of Communications Kara Hoopis at khoopis@ripd.org.
