Miami, Fla., attorney Susan Bozorgi was elected to NACDL’s Board and sworn in by NACDL President Steven Benjamin at the fall board meeting on Oct. 27, 2012.
Rutgers School of Law, Newark, student Michael Woodruff won NACDL’s 2012 Diversity Essay Competition — “‘Tough on Crime’ Versus ‘Smart on Crime’: What’s the Difference?” Board Member Geneva Vanderhorst presented the award.
