Dyke Huish is a Criminal Defense Attorney based in Southern California with a practice that handles criminal cases across the Country. He has tried well over 150 criminal cases in both State and Federal Courts including numerous high-profile cases. In 1993 he was declared the American Inns of Court National Trial Champion. He has the unique background of not only being a successful trial attorney but also having obtained a Masters Degree in Psychology. His deep understanding of both the law and the human mind allow him to bring a different perspective to the handling of complex criminal cases. His government service has included serving as a Deputy District Attorney and Deputy Public Defender. He has been listed in Super Lawyers since 2010 as a top defense attorney in Southern California, is Martindale Hubble AV rated, and is a Certified Criminal Law Specialist with the State Bar of California. He has successfully litigated two of the longest and largest fraud cases in the history of the State of California. In 2015 he was awarded the J.Reuben Clark Award for distinguished legal service in California. He has authored numerous articles on Trial Work, Criminal Defense, White Collar Defense and Jury Psychology. He is a frequent speaker and is noted for his both educational and entertaining style. He is a master story teller and has a specialty in Opening Statements and Closing Arguments. He has been called one of the finest jury trial closers of his generation by numerous observers, opponent and judicial officers. Mr. Huish is a husband and the father of five children and is fluent in Spanish.
