Program Summary: Modern drug cases are evolving as the "War on Drugs" expands. The opioid epidemic has plagued the nation and the criminal landscape – leading to harsher punishments and other incentives to force pleas, even when they are unjust.
As the impact of the pandemic lessens, criminal drug trials are picking up once again, and you must be prepared for the fight!
With this program, you will learn novel techniques and practices from the nation's leading experts. You will become familiar with issues such as the elimination of the automobile exception in some states, and what that can mean for yours, as well as time-proven strategies to challenge an arrest, pick a jury post-covid, and cross-examine a cop/agent, and a snitch. We will also revisit the fundamentals of a federal criminal drug matter.
