When NACDL convened its Annual Meeting on August 15, 2020, it was the first time that an Annual Meeting was livestreamed, thus making it possible for members everywhere to view the proceedings. What they saw was an incredible infusion of new talent into the leadership ranks.

The Board of Directors oversees the business and affairs of the organization and sets organization policy. It includes 35 elected directors, four Affiliate Representatives, the officers of the association, and an appointed parliamentarian.
The affairs of the Foundation are managed by the Board of Trustees.
