A) The position of Indigent Defense Coordinator shall preferably be located in the NACDL Office in Washington, DC;
B) The Indigent Defense Coordinator shall be wholly devoted to indigent defense work;
C) The Indigent Defense Counsel position shall be a joint hiring between the Executive Director, representatives of the Executive Committee, with the advice of the Indigent Defense Committee;
D) The Indigent Defense Committee accepts its responsibility for defining and shaping the particular duties of the Indigent Defense Coordinator, regularly evaluating performance of the Indigent Defense Coordinator and having a close working relationship.
