NACDL is working with partners to oppose efforts to expand the use of facial recognition technology in Virginia.

NACDL and coalition partners are working to oppose SB 741 and HB 1339, legislation that would allow Virginia State Police, local law enforcement agencies, and campus police to use facial recognition technology for criminal investigations.
