Looking Forward: Modern Strategies for Prosecution & Defense is a two-part webinar series presented by NACDL and co-sponsored by the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA) in July 2020. This series was made possible by a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance. Defenders, prosecutors, and community stakeholders discussed the rising trend in “progressive prosecutors.” These panels include: 1) the changes to be implemented in prosecution and 2) challenges and opportunities for defenders. In a follow-up session available here, a panel convened to discuss how community stakeholders can hold their elected officials accountable. Due to the critical importance of these issues to the criminal defense community, these webinars remain free for both members and non-members. The first two panels can be viewed below.
