Indiana Abortion Law Post-Dobbs

When Dobbs was decided, Indiana’s criminal laws regarding abortion were mostly aligned with the Roe-Casey framework, although there are detailed regulations and requirements that govern (and limit) access to the procedure. However, now that Roe has been overturned, the Indiana legislature is expected move quickly to pass additional regulations on abortion. Thus, it will be essential to check to see if new laws have been passed after this summary was last updated (in early July 2022).
