North Dakota Abortion Law Post-Dobbs

A North Dakota state court recently ruled the state’s total abortion ban unconstitutional under the state constitution. That decision was appealed. Previously, North Dakota had a total ban on abortion with narrow exceptions. The state allowed abortion until 6 weeks in cases of rape or incest and has other exceptions to preserve the life and health of the pregnant person.
