Travis W. Finck is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law. Travis has devoted most of his professional career to helping individuals in the criminal legal system. He has served the as a public defender and currently in the administration of the N.D. Commission on Legal Counsel for Indigents. Travis has also been given the opportunity to work in private practice having worked in a large firm, a small firm and having owned his own law practice in the past. These opportunities have given him the privilege of representing thousands of individuals. He has taught numerous Continuing Legal Education courses for a wide audience, including lawyers, judges, and social workers. He has been involved in recent efforts to reform the criminal legal system, including a complete rewrite of the Juvenile Court Act and the Mental Competency process in Criminal Court.
