Washington, DC (August 6, 2013) - Cleveland, Ohio, attorney Kristina W. Supler was elected to be a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) at the Association’s 56th annual meeting in San Francisco, California, on July 27.
Supler is currently a trial attorney at Friedman & Frey, L.L.C. in Cleveland, Ohio, where her practice is exclusively criminal defense. She has worked on a wide variety of criminal cases throughout her career, in both state and federal venues, but often focuses on the defense of computer and technology-based offenses. Supler also works extensively on white collar cases.
Supler has been an active member of NACDL since 2006, serving on both the Champion Advisory Board and Indigent Defense Committee. In addition to the years of service she has devoted to NACDL, Supler has also long been committed to the legal community in her home state of Ohio. She is a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association Board of Trustees, where she mentors first year law students. She also volunteers with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs (Rights, Responsibilities and Realities) Program, which connects lawyers with underprivileged high school students as they prepare to complete the Ohio Graduation Test.
Supler completed her bachelor’s degree at Boston University and attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
