LIVE WEBCAST FRIDAY: With Ted Stevens' Lawyer Robert Cary

Washington, DC–A two-year investigation of the prosecution of late Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens reveals that federal prosecutors and an FBI agent involved in the case deliberately and wrongfully attempted to convict a sitting U.S. senator on corruption charges they knew, or should have known, were unfounded.

FRIDAY, MARCH 16, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) will hold a free, live webcast interview with Ted Stevens’ attorney Robert M. Cary, of Williams & Connolly LLP, who will discuss the case, the Schuelke prosecutorial misconduct report, and the future of federal discovery reform. Mr. Cary is a member of NACDL’s White Collar Crime Committee. This in-depth interview is an NACDL exclusive event.

TIME: 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT

There is no charge for this online event. No registration necessary. CLICK HERE or the button below to watch. (The webcast link goes live 3/16/12 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.)

If you are unable to join the webcast live, the interview will be available for viewing and downloading within a half-hour of its conclusion.
