Abasi Major is a trial lawyer based in San Antonio, Texas. His practice focuses on criminal trial litigation, criminal appeals, and civil asset forfeiture. He practices in state and federal courts, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He serves on the CJA panel for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division.
Mr. Major graduated from the University of Texas in 2014 and received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio in 2017. Mr. Major assisted with the 2017-2018 revision for the Texas Annotated Code of Criminal Procedure and Texas Penal Code printed by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association.
