Baton Rouge, La., Attorney Benjamin R. LaBranche Elected to Board of Directors of National Criminal Defense Bar Assn.

Washington, DC (Aug. 14, 2012) – Benjamin LaBranche was sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) at its annual board and membership meeting in San Francisco, California, on July 28. A criminal defense attorney at the Rozas and Rozas Law Firm, L.L.C., LaBranche previously served as an assistant public defender in East Baton Rouge Parish.

LaBranche sits on NACDL’s Indigent Defense and Membership Committees and serves on the board of directors of NACDL’s Louisiana affiliate, the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL). He has also been the president of the Baton Rouge Bar of Criminal Justice since 2008.

A graduate of Louisiana State University, LaBranche received his law degree from the Southern University Law Center.
